For Healthcare Professionals
AHA BLS Provider CPR
Master high-quality CPR, AED use, and team dynamics through the American Heart Association's gold-standard curriculum. This course is specifically designed for healthcare professionals including nurses, physicians, EMS personnel, and students who require professional certification.
Key Topics: 1-Rescuer and 2-Rescuer CPR for adults, children, and infants; high-quality chest compressions; AED operation; bag-mask techniques; and multi-rescuer team dynamics.
Certification: Upon successful completion of the course and skill assessment, participants receive an AHA BLS Provider course completion card, valid for two years.
What to Expect from Your BLS Class
Where We Teach
We bring the life-saving training directly to you! Our instructors travel on-site to your business, school, or community center. If you don't have a space available, we can assist in coordinating a local partner location within the Cape Fear region.
When Classes Are Offered
We offer flexible scheduling to meet your needs. Classes are available during standard business hours (Monday-Friday) as well as evening and weekend options to accommodate diverse shift schedules for healthcare providers and busy groups.

Large Group / On-Site Classes
Certification
Customized group rates are available based on location and class size. Please contact us for a formal quote for your organization.
Official American Heart Association BLS Provider course completion cards are issued electronically (eCards) within 24-48 hours of successful course completion and skill verification.
Individual Students
The course fee is $75 per student. Per AHA requirements, students must have the current BLS Provider Manual (approx. $20), available for purchase or rental through the foundation.
For Businesses, Schools & Groups
Empowering the Community
The Cape Fear EMS Foundation brings life-saving skills directly to our community groups, businesses, and schools. Our participants learn critical techniques including recognizing cardiac arrest, performing hands-only CPR, and the basics of AED operation. We offer flexible on-site training designed to empower individuals with the confidence to act in emergency situations. Community CPR classes are offered free of charge to eligible community groups.
