Our recent fundraiser brought the community together in a powerful way. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who participated, we raised $647 to support scholarships and hardship funds for first responders. This achievement reflects the strong bond between our community and those who dedicate their lives to keeping us safe. Today, we celebrate the raffle winners, Logan Ricks and Matt Hessler, who won raffle tickets for the Carolina Hurricanes playoff tickets for Round 2, Game 4. We also share how your support makes a real difference.

How Your Contributions Help First Responders
The $647 raised will go directly to scholarships and hardship funds for first responders. These funds provide essential support in several ways:
Scholarships help first responders pursue further education and training, improving their skills and career opportunities.
Hardship funds offer financial assistance during difficult times, such as medical emergencies or family crises.
This support ensures first responders can focus on their demanding roles without added financial stress.
By contributing, community members help build a stronger, more resilient team of first responders. These funds are a practical way to say thank you for their dedication and sacrifice.
The Importance of Community Support
First responders face challenges every day, from emergencies to long shifts and emotional stress. Community support plays a crucial role in helping them manage these demands. Fundraisers like this raffle create a direct connection between the public and those who serve.
When the community steps up, it sends a clear message: first responders are valued and appreciated. This encouragement boosts morale and helps maintain a positive outlook among those who protect us.
